About
Hi there! I’m Christina…
I am a native of Toronto, Canada, but now happily live in East Aurora, NY (by way of my Buffalonian husband). We have two amazing daughters, and a sweet (and grumpy) golden retriever named Cedar.
I have been practicing as a speech language pathologist for 11 years. I am a licensed speech language pathologist in New York, and Montana, and have my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), with ASHA. I have advanced training in the area of diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Children are truly my favorite people to spend time with. Your child is my priority. If you child is struggling with a speech sound disorder, my passion is to help them to overcome that.
In my work in early intervention, preschools, schools, and telepractice I always strive to make therapy functional, practical, and most importantly fun!
I earned my masters of science at the University of Montana in 2014 and was initially attracted to the field of speech pathology by way of my love of singing and voice. The first part of my life was spent in the world of music theatre, and I am a graduate from Sheridan College’s Music Theatre Performance Program in Ontario, Canada. I spent 5 years working professionally. Fun fact! I actually met my husband while touring the U.S. performing as Emily Elizabeth in the children’s production of “Clifford the Big Red Dog-Live”. :)
I am also the founder of Happy Talk Song and Sign, LLC. I provide caregiver-baby classes, and online programs that infuse more language learning and music into everyday parent and child routines.
